Newton Robinson worked for IBM from June 1st, 1975 until March 20th, 1993 as a 1st line manager in manufacturing. He worked for Intel from November 13th, 1995 and retired in May of 2013. At Intel he was hired as a Senior Supervisor and retired as Human Resource personnel.

Newton attended the State University of New York at New Paltz, from May 1971 through May 1975 where he received a BA in Psychology. He completed the 36 hour Human Resource Management Certificate Program from The Robert O. Anderson School and Graduate School of Management on November 21st 2003. He is a member of the soci- ety for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Newton started the Intel/Cibola Mentorship program at Intel in 2009 with a group of mentors from Intel’s employee groups. This program is now operation under Com- munity Mentor Network organization (CMN) . He is currently the Program Manager and President of CMN. The program continued today to operate under Community Mentor Network (CMN) a 501-C-3 not for profit organization. This program current- ly supports Cibola HS and freshmen at UNM.

Newton serves on the Deacon Board at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. He is part of the International Mission Team that traveled to Santa Dominica, Hong Kong, Belize, Guyana South America, Kenya, and Jamaica.
